There are some moments in life when words simply aren’t enough. Our family is heartbroken and still trying to process the unexpected loss of Scott Lowman.

Scott was so many things to so many people — a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, pastor, and a true friend to many. He was someone who loved his family, enjoyed sports, and, most importantly, loved God. His faith was a meaningful part of his life, and we find comfort knowing that he is now in God’s loving arms.

Losing Scott so unexpectedly has left our family facing not only an overwhelming emotional loss, but also unexpected financial expenses. Along with the cost of his funeral and final arrangements, there is the additional expense of transporting Scott from South Carolina back to Michigan, his home state, so we can honor his final wishes and bring him home.

We never imagined we would have to ask for help like this. But right now, we are asking our family, friends, and community to come alongside us during one of the most difficult times we have ever faced.
