Help us bring Sam Hervey home & support his boys

Hi, my name is Margaret Reasoner, and I'm Sam Hervey's aunt. I don't even know where to begin as I never thought that I'd have to be writing something like this. Sam was supposed to outlive me and my generation.

On August 22nd, Sam passed away unexpectedly in his sleep. His coworker found him. Sam was only 31 years old.

If you knew Sam, you know how much he loved his two boys, Zaden (10) and Kade (6), and how important they were to him. He was an excellent father, and at any moment he would drop everything to make sure they were provided for. Sam used all of his money, as well as a good portion of his 401k, to buy a house in Tennessee just so he could be close to them. Sadly, he didn't even get the chance to live in it for 2 weeks.

As with any unexpected death at such a young age, there were no long term plans in place. I'm reaching out to anyone who knew and loved Sam, as we're asking for help to get him home from Minnesota to California, coordinate all funeral expenses, as well as to provide flights for his boys and family to attend his celebration of life.

And if you knew Sam, you knew how much he celebrated life.

Any additional funds beyond that will be used to support the boys as they grow into men that will one day be like their father - generous, hardworking and a good friend.

We are all heartbroken, and in shock.
