Help Us Bring Roscoe's Ashes Home

Donation protected
Hello. My name is Joanna and I'm not one to ask for help but, this will be the exception. Roscoe may have just been a dog to most people but, to us, he was a huge member of our family. My son is on the spectrum and went through a lot growing up until 2016, when his therapist encouraged me to find him a best friend. And that we did. We went to the Williamson County Shelter and found Roscoe, the bestest doggo we could've asked for. He was not only my son's best friend who offered him the silent support he needed but, was also a great guard dog. He was protective of everyone who lived here and didn't like it when we pretend 'fought'. He knew when my son needed his comfort and when he needed his space. We enjoyed 9 wonderful years with him and even though I would joke around and shoo him away, I really loved that dog. We all do. Unfortunately, cancer has taken him from us. The hardest part, besides losing him, is finding out how much it's going to cost us to get his ashes back. I'm barely making the meet and we weren't expecting our family's loss. If you can find it in your heart to donate at least $1, my son and my family would be eternally grateful. I know it might seem like something unimportant to most but, for my son, Roscoe was his whole world. He's devastated by this loss that we knew would come someday, we just weren't expecting it so soon.
