Piggy is a short psychological horror film that explores childhood trauma, memory, and the quiet terror that lingers long after abuse ends. Told through fragmented flashbacks and unsettling imagery, the film follows a young woman as she is forced to confront moments from her childhood she has spent her whole life trying to forget.
This film is being made by a group of student filmmakers currently studying abroad in the UK as part of an international exchange program. While this experience has given us the opportunity to collaborate across cultures and film industries, it also means we are working far from home with limited resources and no access to our usual equipment or support systems.
Despite this, we are committed to creating a professional, thoughtful, and visually striking film. Piggy is deeply character-driven and relies on atmosphere, performance, and practical effects rather than jump scares. Our goal is to tell this story responsibly, ethically, and with care for both our cast and crew.
Funds raised will go directly toward:
-Production design, locations, and permits
-Practical effects, makeup, and wardrobe
-Equipment rental
-Cast and crew meals and travel
Every contribution (no matter the size) helps make this film possible. If you’re unable to donate, sharing the campaign is just as meaningful.
Thank you for supporting student filmmakers and helping us bring Piggy to life while we study and create abroad.
