Hello!! My close friend and I are working on our very own webcomic!!

The issues are able to be read for free, but making a comic is very expensive to pay for as an independent group and publisher.

The comic is best described as a supernatural thriller. A world where most known supernatural species (think vampires, werewolves, mages, you name it) have been clumped into one city under threat of annihilation. They want to get out. The protagonist, an unremarkable everyman fresh out of college, finds himself dragged into rising tensions due to his friends and family. His entire perspective of the world gets flipped on its head, and worse.

The project is a labor of love and has been since 2022. When I was younger, I often used to help my friends write stories about things they made for themselves, but one night, I was asked why I hadn't done so for myself. The idea was born in my head, and I've been hard at work on it ever since. A few years later, by pure chance, I met my illustrator, a very sweet and talented man named Sedar, who showed never-ending support for my story and went the extra mile to make my dreams of being a comic writer and his dreams of being an illustrator come true.

Financing becomes a big part of these kinds of projects, however. Without an established publisher, projects like these can often go dry without a lack of funding for the people at work on it. Crowdfunding has been a subject often discussed within the team. I've always been one to try to be independent when it comes to my own ventures, but in between supporting myself and my family, it leaves very little to put towards the project.
