Help Us Bring Our Skinwalker Story to Life

Hi, we are a group of filmmakers who are working on a passion project more than a year in the making. We've already spent more than a year planning, and have already locked in the locations and accommodations for our production as well as several key pieces of equipment. We most recently finished casting the production after an extensive two weeks of auditions and callbacks. The short is a story revolving around a group of boys who stumble upon a Skinwalker during a backpacking trip. Inspired by our Director of Photography's experiences backpacking with his group of friends. We were also really inspired by films such as The Goonies, The Ritual, and The Thing, using these stories as inspiration throughout the writing process. We are shooting this film in Lake Tahoe on location to give the most authentic visual representation of our vision. Our story is full of twists, intense moments, comedic dialogue, and a likable cast of characters. You will love the world we have created, and we need your help to make this a reality.

We need your help with providing filmmaking essentials such as food for the cast and crew, safety materials, first aid, and water. We also still need to buy materials for our set design, camera department, makeup department, and the transportation costs for our entire crew.
