Hi, we’re Dan & Day, and we are the owners of Dan & Day’s in Montclair.

A few days ago, we tragically lost one of our team members in a car accident. He was far from home, and our hope is to give him the dignity of being reunited with his parents in Guatemala.

He was such an important part of our team and community—hardworking, kind, and deeply loved. This is the least we can do to honor him and support his family during this heartbreaking time.

His brothers, who live here in the U.S., have already raised $4,500 through their own contributions and help from friends. We are asking for help to raise the remaining $5,000 needed to cover funeral costs and transport his body back to Guatemala. In addition, I would love for us to send his parents $500 to support them as they grieve this unimaginable loss.
