My husband and I married in 2019 and immediately began trying to conceive. After years of frustration and testing, we received the heartbreaking news that, due to a history of childhood cancer (radiation treatment) and PCOS, I was in peri-menopause and unable to conceive biologically. Facing this reality was incredibly difficult, but we turned to our lifelong dream of adoption, completing our approval in 2022.

Recently, a miracle happened! We were informed of a precious 4-month-old girl in Honduras (now 14 months old) available for adoption. From the moment we learned about her, we believed in our hearts she was meant to be our daughter. Her adoption affidavits have been officially submitted to the Honduran government, and we are filled with hope and excitement for the future.

However, international adoption is expensive and comes with many challenges. We are required to make two separate trips to Honduras—one for two weeks and a final trip for four weeks—in addition to the legal costs. Our savings are gone, and loans were denied. We desperately need financial help to cover the remaining adoption costs, travel and stay expenses, and time away from work so we can bring our angel home and give her the loving, forever family she deserves.
