Dear friends, family, and supporters of the arts,
I am honored to share that my work, En honor a CADA VIDa, has been invited to be part of the Amelia Island Dance Festival this September in Florida. I will be traveling with four extraordinary artists whose dedication, skill, and generosity of spirit bring this piece to life in powerful ways.
This festival is an amazing opportunity for us to share our work with new audiences and celebrate life, memory, and connection through dance.
Why We’re Asking for Your Support
Like many arts organizations this year, the festival has felt the impact of significant cuts to arts funding. Although they can provide some support, it does not fully cover the true cost of rehearsals, travel, and fair artist fees for my dancers.
I believe deeply that every artist’s time, labor, and artistry should be valued. En honor a CADA VIDa is a piece that honors the preciousness of each life, and through this fundraiser, we hope to honor our dancers in the same way.
Your support will help ensure that these talented artists are fairly compensated for the many hours of rehearsal, creative commitment, and the beautiful energy they bring to the stage.
Where Your Contribution Goes
Every dollar you contribute will go directly toward:
- Fair artist fees for rehearsals and the performance
- Partial travel support and small stipends for the dancers
- Covering essential production needs so we can present this work with care and integrity
Our goal is to raise $2,500 or more within the next two months. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference.
