Unfortunately, on Saturday, February 7th, 2026, we experienced the unexpected loss of my beloved uncle, who was killed in Guadeloupe. Our family is still trying to process this devastating news, and the pain of losing him so suddenly feels unbearable.
He was more than just an uncle, son, brother, and father. He was a source of love, strength, laughter, and guidance in our lives. He showed up for his family in every way possible, always ready with a helping hand, wise advice, or a warm embrace. His absence leaves a space in our hearts that can never be filled.
As we grieve, we are also faced with the overwhelming financial burden of bringing him home from Guadeloupe. The costs of international transportation, legal documentation, funeral arrangements, and related expenses are far beyond what our family can manage alone.
We are asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us bring him home so he can rest peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping our family in your prayers.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support. It means more to us than words can express as we navigate this heartbreaking loss together.
With love and gratitude,
Lillian I.
