Help Us Bring Our Baby Echo Home One Last Time

Hey friends,
We are coming to you all to help us bring our baby Echo back home one last time. We need to collect $250 for a private cremation before October 3rd.

Echo was more than a cat to our family she was our baby, my baby. She loved her bows, food, treats, cuddles, belly rubs, and her brother and sister (our doggies). She was so full of personality. We named her Echo because of how talkative she was. She was only 6 months old — still just a sweet baby.

A little backstory: We found Echo abandoned about 4 months ago and took her in. We nursed her back to weight, and she quickly became the happiest little princess. She loved mealtime, had the biggest treat collection, and adored her toys and bows. She truly walked around like royalty.

This past Sunday at 3:30 a.m., I let her outside for a few minutes after getting home from DoorDashing. When I opened the door, I found our baby curled up on the porch. Her jaw looked broken, and her eye was foggy and bleeding. We rushed her to 4 different animal hospitals, spending the entire day begging for help. Because we didn’t have much money, it was nearly impossible to find someone willing to treat her. Blessthe few friends who pulled through in that moment.

Finally, we found an amazing vet who worked very hard with us. We learned that Echo’s jaw had snapped in a way that even if we could somehow afford the $8,000 surgery—she would have lived in pain and never truly enjoyed her favorite thing: mealtime. As much as it broke my heart, I couldn’t be selfish and make her suffer. The vets advocated for euthanasia, and after hours of crying, holding her, and telling her how much she was loved, we finally let her go to heaven. It was one of the hardest but most necessary decisions our family has ever had to make.

we are asking everyone—if you can give even a single dollar—please help us bring our baby home one last time, where she belongs. She never liked strangers, and I can’t bear to leave her there forever.

Thank you to everyone who stayed and read about our sweet Echo. ❤️
