After almost 14 years of marriage, our hearts are still full of hope for the family God has planned for us. On July 13th, we began praying together as a family about expanding our family through adoption. This date is especially meaningful to us, as it’s almost nine months to the day that the baby will be born. Years ago, we were told we might never be able to have children. But God had other plans, and we were blessed with our miracle daughter. She is living proof that miracles still happen.

Last summer, we trusted that if adoption was meant to be, God would open the right door at the right time. Well that door opened the end of February. We were presented with an opportunity to adopt a precious baby who is due in mid April. Just a few days ago, we had the chance to meet the baby’s birth mother. It was a moment that felt deeply meaningful and confirmed in our hearts that this child may be meant to become part of our family.

But this opportunity has come together very quickly, and with it comes unexpected financial costs. In order to move forward with the adoption, we need to cover legal fees, required paperwork, and adoption expenses. With the baby due in mid April, time is very short. Adoption is something we have prayed about for months, and now that the opportunity is here, we are stepping forward in faith and asking for help from our community. Every donation—no matter the amount—brings us closer to being able to say “yes” to this baby and bring them into a home filled with love, faith, and stability.
