Help Us Bring New Life to the Little Bears Day Care Garden!

We’re Little Bears Day Care—a dedicated children’s charity—and right now, we need your help to give our garden the makeover it truly deserves.

Our outdoor space is where so much magic happens: children discovering nature, playing with friends, and making their very first memories of joy and exploration. But after years of wear and tear, the garden is now tired, outdated, and no longer the safe, inspiring space our little ones need.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we’ve already made fantastic progress. We’ve been awarded the Tesco Golden Grant of £5,000, alongside a Whitchurch Town Council grant of £1,000, a Rotary Club donation of £1,000, donations from Landia (£600), the Whitchurch District Club (£400), and funds raised through events by Card Factory. This generosity, combined with money raised at wonderful community events like the Little Bears Summer Fun Day, has helped us build a strong foundation for our garden transformation.

Every extra pound we raise through fundraising means less pressure on our reserves, which are essential for providing the high-quality care and learning resources that our children depend on. It allows us to focus our resources where they’re needed most—helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.

The exciting news? The new garden is scheduled to be completed in June 2025—just in time for a summer full of fun, discovery, and outdoor adventures!
