Hi everyone, I’m reaching out during a very difficult time for my family—my mom was recently detained after going to renew her green card, something we never imagined would lead to her being taken into custody. She is a hardworking, caring person who has always done her best to support our family, and this situation has been incredibly shocking and overwhelming for us.

We are urgently trying to raise money to hire an experienced immigration lawyer to represent her and guide us through this process, and the cost is estimated to be between $20,000 and $30,000, which is far beyond what we can afford on our own.
