Michael Garvey died suddenly this past Friday, July 12 at his home in Ft Lauderdale. It appeared he was headed out for a bike ride. He was 49 years old. His mother Marilyn Garvey received this horrifying phone call from the police at her home in Prince Edward island Canada!!!!!! We are raising $6000.00 to help with the expenses to bring Michael back to Canada to be at peace with his Dad!!!! Please help us help!!!! Please click on to donate now!!
My sister in law is widowed and has no means to bring her son home to be with his Dad. We do though, have a large number of family, friends and loving people who cared about Michael, his Dad, Mom and his brothers and sisters.
Our Garvey's are a large family of many last names now spread all over. We started with the Garvey and the Gannon's back in around 1870.
Michael's, Dad my brother Tom, was from South west Philadelphia. His Mom from Toronto. Michael was born her in Pottstown Pa. The family later moved to the country life of PEI and had 4 more additions to the family. Michael was raised in PEI Canada. He was drawn back to Philadelphia around 1997. He fell in love with Florida when he helped to take his grandparents to Disney for their 60th wedding anniversary.
Michael,then moved to Ft Lauderdale, always the gracious host for family seeking visits during the cold winters up here. The costs of bringing Michael home are extraordinary. Please help me and his family bring Michael home by helping his Mom to pay these final expenses so she may make his final resting place next to his Dad, Thomas Patrick Garvey Jr. Please help us bring Michael back home to his Mom, our beloved Sister in law!!!!
