We are deeply saddened to share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our dear friend, Mateusz. At just 27 years old, Mateusz's life has been taken from us far too soon.

Mateusz was kind-hearted, selfless, and as all would say, “one of the good ones”. Mateusz would always keep the spirits high behind the bar, laughing and joking with staff & customers. He wasn’t only a key member of our team; he was our friend & family.

Mateusz, always spoke about how we were his “Scottish family”, and how we made him feel at home. Mateusz, was happy with the small things in life, speaking about his mum and family back home in, Poland, working behind the bar, and enjoying a pint of, Tennents.

We are trying to raise money to help Mateusz’ family cover the cost of getting him back home to, Poland. Any donations would be deeply appreciated in helping give, Mateusz, the proper send-off that he deserves.
