Hi My name is Zaneta am Marcel’s mother. My little son is fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia. During his treatment he developed a life-threatening fungal infection that attacked his mouth…To save his life, Marcel had to go through 12 surgeries, and doctors had to remove parts of the bone from his nose, palate, and teeth.

Today Marcel is responding well to treatment and there is hope he can finally come home. Unfortunately, our house is full of moisture and mold, which is extremely dangerous for his weakened immune system.

Before Marcel can return home, we must make the house safe and clean. We need to remove old furniture, replace floors, doors and windows, and buy air purifiers to create a sterile environment for him.

This fundraiser will help us prepare a safe home for our son.
