Dear (old and new) Friends and Family,

My name is Cinzia Rigon.

This holiday season, I come to you with a heavy heart as we face a challenging time with our beloved dog, Lily. On behalf of my family, I am reaching out to ask for a little help as we navigate this difficult journey.

After the painful loss of our golden retriever, Maya, less than two years ago, we thought we were starting to heal. But now, as we celebrate this season of hope and joy, our little Lily has fallen gravely ill. Hospitalized for the past two days, she has been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure, and the doctors require further tests and treatments to understand her condition. Each day, we hold onto hope, praying for a miracle that will allow us to bring her home where she belongs.

Lily has brought so much joy and laughter into our lives. We cherish the moments when she barks at every delivery person who comes to our door, plays in the snow, and keeps watch from the window with her adorable tongue sticking out. She is curious and adventurous, and her spirit is filled with love that brightens our days. Her journey is not over, and we believe there is still time for more memories together.

We understand that this holiday season can be challenging for everyone, and any contribution you can offer to assist with Lily's medical expenses would mean the world to us. It will help cover the costs of the extended stay, necessary medications, and tests needed to help her recover. Your support will guide us and give us the hope we need during this trying time.
