Help Bring Landslide Lyndon to Life
Working on this musical together has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. Being brothers means we challenge each other on every scene, every lyric, and every note until we both believe in it. Together, we've made something neither of us could have made alone.
We've never been prouder of any creative work than Landslide Lyndon.
LBJ was one of those rare historical figures who seemed to demand a musical. He could be outrageous, hilarious, manipulative, cruel, and deeply compassionate—sometimes within the span of a single conversation. That combination made him irresistible to write.
Landslide Lyndon asks urgent questions about power, democracy, compassion, and ambition. It doesn't tell you what to think, but it does ask what happens when extraordinary accomplishments and profound personal flaws exist in the same leader. At a moment when many of the ideals of the Great Society are being questioned or dismantled, those questions feel especially relevant.
Now the play is ready for the next step, a staged reading at Ripley Grier Studios in Manhattan on August 2nd, 2026, and we're asking for a little help.
This first staged reading brings together an extraordinary cast and creative team, but producing even a reading is expensive. We've funded the show's development ourselves, and we're asking for your help covering actors, musicians, rehearsal space, and production costs.
If you're able to contribute, we'd be deeply grateful. If you know someone who loves new theater, we'd be grateful for an introduction. And most of all, we hope you'll come see the show.
We can't wait to share Landslide Lyndon with you.
