Help us bring Joy and Hope to Saige
Saige is a 25 year old who is determined, bright, brilliant, shy with a humorous soul. Saige enjoys outdoor Colorado adventures and traveling. Her fur babies, Ollie, Jinks and Nixon are her life. We have been best friends since the moment we met three years ago.
Until recently she was working two healthcare jobs, one full time and one PRN. Alongside her jobs, Saige attends Colorado Mountain college full time, in hopes of becoming a Registered Nurse.
On March 12th she had surgery to remove a cyst from her left wrist and then got referred to UC health and was diagnosed with malignant Atypical Eccrine Spiradenoma. Since then, she has taken two trips to meet with the doctor in Denver, that required a CT and MRI. These were out of network for her insurance. The CT showed nodules on her lungs. On June 1 she had a second surgery in Denver and her recovery has been long and painful. Sadly, her Path came back showing they didn’t get it all of the cancer, so she will be requiring 3rd resection surgery, and then a skin graft.
The meeting with the lung doctor was in June and have to follow up chest CT in August. Saige will have a meeting with oncology here in Glenwood on 06/28.
Due to having an open wound, Saige has been working from home since the time of her second surgery. Unfortunately, she is unable to work her full-time hours since she has restrictions and experiences pain while using her arm. She is also still taking online classes at this time.
Please help us bring Joy, Hope and Peace during this difficult time. Anything helps, funds will go to Saige's medical expenses and bills during this hard time.
God Bless.
