Hi, my name is Kennedy, and my son Samuel and I have felt a deep calling to spend our school holidays on a short-term mission trip to Brazil. We’ll be partnering with an amazing organisation called Missao Pescadores, a Christian outreach that serves children and families in vulnerable communities through faith-based education, support, and love.

What We’ll Be Doing

Through Missao Pescadores’ vibrant children’s ministry, we’ll have the privilege of serving 260 children—many of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The project offers:

Bible-based activities

Worship gatherings and Sunday school

Music, art, and playtime

Life-giving relationships rooted in Christ

Samuel and I will be directly involved in running games, songs, storytelling, craft, and one-on-one time with the children, bringing joy, encouragement, and the message of God’s love.

What We’re Raising Funds For

We’re asking for your support to make this mission possible. Our fundraising goal will be used equally for two important purposes:

✅ 50% – Directly for the Children

We want to bless each of the 260 children with a special gift pack that may include:

A Bible in Portuguese

Toys and games to encourage joy and creativity

School supplies, storybooks, or hygiene items

Each gift will be a reminder to the children that they are seen, valued, and loved.

50% – Local Travel & Logistics

While we are covering our flights to Brazil, we need help funding:

Transport within Brazil to reach the project site

Meals and accommodation during our stay

Basic local expenses as we serve
