On July 17, 2017 a single-vehicle crash on a gravel road northeast of Rossburn, Manitoba ended the life of our beloved friend Jake Madula.
The pick-up truck was heading eastbound along with his 3 other co-workers/ friends on their way home from work when the driver lost control on the gravel road and rolled. The 3 other passengers received minor injuries.
Jake is a very good friend to all of us in the community. A wonderful and happy man. He was a loving husband to his wife Emely, a great father to his 5-year old son JM, and is going to be an amazing dad to their unborn child.
Jake moved to Russell, MB Canada a few years back from Laguna, Philippines and became a Permament Resident last year in 2016. He was later reunited with his family around fall of the same year. The couple were very happy when they found out that Emely is pregnant and they will be blessed with a second child come this November 2017. Emely went back to the Philippines with JM to attend some family/personal matters and Jake was supposed to join them this August for a vacation.
At this time, on behalf of Jake's wife and family we humbly ask for your support due to this tragic and sudden loss. His remains are set to be brought back to the Philippines where most of his family are waiting to have a final glimpse of him.
Please let us help them financially. Any amount would be very much appreciated. It will help them pay for repartriation of Jake's body and other unexpected expenses that may arise.
