We’re thrilled to share that thanks to your incredible support, we have successfully reached our goal for renting the exhibition space at Berlin Freedom Week — one of the world’s leading festivals dedicated to freedom, justice, and democratic engagement.

Our interactive multimedia exhibition, “Green Transition and Lithium Dilemma: Serbia’s Jadar Valley in Focus,” will shed light on the destructive dimensions of Rio Tinto’s proposed Jadar lithium mining project in Serbia — a project that threatens fragile ecosystems, undermines citizens’ rights, and symbolizes the shrinking of democratic space in Europe.

Through immersive visuals, sound, and documentary storytelling, we explore a question that sits at the heart of Europe’s green transition:

How can sustainability be achieved without sacrificing democracy, transparency, and environmental integrity?

Next Step: Bringing the Story to Life

With the exhibition space secured, we are now seeking additional support to bring this project to its full potential. Your contribution will help us cover:

1. Printing materials – roll-ups, brochures, posters, and poster stands to present stories, data, and community voices.

2. Image licenses – ensuring ethical and high-quality visuals throughout the exhibition.

3. Travel costs – flight tickets for local community representative(s) from the Jadar Valley to attend and speak at the event.

4. Snacks and beverages – to create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and community discussions.
