Our friend Jack was involved in a serious motorbike accident while on holiday in Thailand.
There is a risk that Jack will have his leg amputated and he will live with this injury for the rest of his life.
The cost of flying Jack home to the UK to get access to the care he needs is ~£20,000 repatriation this is due to a team of doctors having to accompany Jack in the aeroplane. Plus ~£20,000 medical Thai medical bills, Jack has been in hospital for 3 days and the medical bill has already reached ~236,000 Thai baht (~£5900) and he may have to stay between 1 and 3 weeks.
Due to the staggering costs, anything that you can offer to help get Jack home safely would be very much appreciated.
We will try to keep everyone updated on Jack's recovery.
