this is Grizzly, Grizz for short. he’s the sweetest cat you’ll ever encounter and all he ever wants to do is cuddle and eat squeezie treats. he’s only a 9 month old baby, and has so much life to live.

he became very sick on 3/10, so we took him to our emergency vet immediately. he went from playing and running through our home to not being able to stand in a matter of hours. he was diagnosed with Dry FIP. he also has a few masses in his abdomen. he hasn’t been able to eat or drink anything on his own since 3/10 and we are terrified that he won’t make it. he’s in critical condition and we’ve been waiting outside of the emergency vet for hours and hours.

he’s our world and we want to do anything to save him. this includes taking on a $15,000-$20,000 emergency vet bill. richard and i are both college students and work 40+ hours a week. as much as we would love to be able to cover all of this ourselves, we are drowning in his bills. we hate asking for help but we need to be able to get him the care he needs and deserves.

on top of his vet bills, FIP treatment will cost anywhere between $1,500 - $3,000.

we just want him to be able to come home. even if you can only spare a dollar or two, we appreciate you more than you know. we hope to bring him home and heal him, as well as offer support to other families dealing with FIP in their pets. it used to be a fatal disease, but in 2024 medicine was approved to administer from pharmacy’s in the united states. we’re holding out hope.
