Help Prairie Creek Creamery Bring Goat Cheese Back to Mid-MO

My name is Abbey and my husband is Guy. Guy grew up with dairy goats and has loved milking goats and making cheese from a very young age. For over 15 years, we both worked at Goatsbeard Farm. There, we learned a lot about tending the goats and making many kinds of delicious goat cheese. We worked very closely with Ken and Jenn Muno. We continued to be a part of Goatsbeard Farm until they ceased dairy operations in 2021. As many of you remember, Goatsbeard Farm cheese was enjoyed by many people in Mid-Missouri!

We now have our own herd of wonderful goats that we milk daily. We have been busy turning that milk into delicious goat cheese to share with family and friends. We have the extraordinary opportunity to move our herd to Goatsbeard Farm, utilizing the land and facilities to resume making and selling goat cheese in Mid-Missouri!!! Our dream is to provide goat cheese to customers at the Columbia Farmer’s Market and local restaurants and grocery stores. Please support us in bringing goat cheese back to Mid-Missouri!!

Your donation will help purchase equipment in order to resume cheese making at Goatsbeard Farm. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated!! Make sure you check out the wonderful YouTube video.
