Hi, I’m Priscilla, the writer and director of Fractured, a powerful short film inspired by the iconic song Cell Block Tango from the musical Chicago. But this isn’t just a reimagining—it’s a raw, emotional dive into the untold origin stories of three women bound by betrayal, abuse, and their journey to reclaim their power.
When my colleague, Maxime Bos, came to me with the initial concept, I knew this was a story I wanted to be a part of telling!
Through the moving language of tango, Fractured explores how far someone can be pushed before they break—and what it means to take control of your own story. It’s a film about resilience, defiance, and the sometimes dark consequences of liberation.
We have an incredible cast and crew who are passionate about telling this story, but we need your help to make it happen. Your contributions will go directly toward production costs: paying our crew, securing locations, costumes, high-quality equipment, post-production work, etc. to ensure Fractured is as visually stunning as it is emotionally impactful.
