Dear friends, family, and community, with broken hearts but in strong faith in the Resurrection, we share the devastating news that our beloved friend, brother, husband, and father, Dyma, only 56 years old, fell asleep in the Lord suddenly on the morning of December 5, while resting in his truck in Ohio. Dyma was a man of rare goodness—a gentle soul whose kindness, love, and joyful smile touched everyone who knew him. He lived with deep faith and was always the first to offer help, support, and strength. To his family and friends, he was a pillar—steady, selfless, and full of heart.


Although far from his homeland and from his children who cannot be present for his burial, Dyma built a family here. His wife Emma and all of us who loved him were his home in this country. We were blessed to be part of his life, and now we stand together to honor him with dignity. The costs of transporting Dyma’s body to Naples, arranging a proper Orthodox Christian funeral, and covering all necessary associated expenses are significant. Emma’s wish is to give Dyma the dignified farewell he deserves, surrounded by the love and prayers of those who cherished him.
