Help us Bring Dispensing Influence to Burning Man 2025!
Donation protected
We’re bringing Dispensing Influence, an interactive Yoruba-inspired art installation, to the deep playa—and we need your help to make it happen! This piece will honor ancestral wisdom by dispensing 3D-printed orisha heads, inviting participants to reflect, connect, and carry a piece of the experience with them.
Your donation will help cover materials, transportation, build costs, and community workshops. Every contribution, big or small, helps bring this vision to life. Let’s create something powerful together!
"Dispensing Influence" features a 6'9" gum ball machine on top of a heptagon structure of steps leading up to the machine - like up to an altar. The dome holds hundreds of miniature heads, each symbolizing a Yoruba god in one of seven vibrant colors. Participants turn the metal crank, dispensing a "gumball" that represents divine influence and heritage. The iconic gumball machine atop a shrine-like structure invites curiosity, sparking reflection on the sacred and cultural legacy encased within.
