(Update) Daisy has come home, but now AMR has billed us the cost of transportation for Daisy to the Hospital in Seattle.

 My baby Daisy was born with shoulder dystocia, which caused nerve damage in her C3 and C4 nerves. This has made it very difficult for her to breathe on her own, and she was put on a CPAP machine just minutes after birth. The damage to her diaphragm means her lung doesn’t want to inflate fully, so she needs extra support to keep going.

While Daisy is in the hospital, our family is doing everything we can to stay by her side. My husband lost his job because of our situation, and now we’re struggling to afford even the basics. We have very little money for food for ourselves and our 2-year-old daughter, and we’re worried about how we’ll pay for gas to get to the hospital and keep up with our bills.
