On Friday, June 1st, my cousin - Bell Neto - became yet another ICE victim and is currently sitting in a detention facility here in Atlanta awaiting his fate. While having lunch at a KFC in Marietta, an ICE officer approached and arrested him on the spot. Although we do not yet know the intricate details behind his arrest, it appears the officer may have been tailing my cousin for a while before arresting him.
Meanwhile, his family and friends are scrambling to help from the outside, trying to provide support and assistance as best we can. Since his arrest, we have had the opportunity to visit him a few times, and we find him to be in good spirits and in good faith, even amidst questionable conditions and with an uncertain future ahead.
We are reaching out to everyone that can offer even an iota of help. We require funds to cover his legal fees, so that we can hire a good lawyer in order to give Bell a fighting chance at being released. Any amount will help towards this goal, and get us a step closer to bringing him home. At the moment, we estimate a total of $10,000.00 is needed to cover the cost of the lawyer, as well as his bail. Even though Bell is cutoff from the world at the moment, he already expresses his deepest gratitude to all that contributes to his cause, and so do we.

Sexta-feira, primeiro de Junho, meu primo – Bell Neto – se tornou mais uma vitima do ICE, e esta neste momento detido em uma prisao em Atlanta esperando julgamento. Foi detido enquanto comprava lunche no KFC em Marietta, um policial do ICE se aproximou e o prendeu no local. Nos ainda nao sabemos a totalidade dos detalhes, somente que foi dito pelo policial que era relativo ao visto dele.
Enquanto isso, familia e amigos estao se mobilizando para levantar fundos para o custos legais de advogado e fianca. Desde que foi detido, tivemos a oportunidade de visita-lo, e encontramos ele em bom espirito, em boa fe e com muita esperanca, mesmo no meio de tanta tribulacao e um futuro incerto.
Estamos esperando alcancar todos que puder nos ajudar nesta hora. Precisamos arrecadar nas proximas semanas um total minimo de $10,000.00 (dollares) para cobrir custos legais com advogado e fianca. Por favor, qualquer ajuda sera bem vinda. Desde ja, antecipamos nossos agradecimentos a todos. Por favor, nos ajude a tirar o Bell deste lugar!
