This fundraiser was created by Alana DiGuglielmo on behalf of the DiGuglielmo family. The beneficiary is Kathleen DiGuglielmo, Bart's stepmother, who, along with her husband, Louis DiGuglielmo, Bart's father, has been responsible for arranging and covering Bart's funeral expenses. All donations will be received by Kathleen and used solely to reimburse and help cover the costs of transporting Bart from Florida to New Jersey, funeral and memorial services, burial expenses, and other related costs on behalf of the family.

On June 30th, 2026, our loved one Bart DiGuglielmo was tragically taken from us as the result of a senseless act of violence. This unexpected loss has left our family heartbroken as we grieve and begin making arrangements to bring him home.

We are raising funds to help transport Bart from Florida to New Jersey, where he will be laid to rest beside his twin brother. Both brothers proudly served in the United States Army, and it is our family's wish to reunite them and honor his life with the respectful farewell he deserves.

Our focus is on honoring the life of the man we lost. Bart was a decorated U.S. Army Staff Sergeant and disabled veteran who proudly served our country for more than 20 years. Following his military career, he continued caring for others as a trauma center nurse. He was also a devoted Christian who faithfully led weekly Bible studies and was an active member of his church.

Above all, he was a son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He dedicated his life to serving others in the military, in the trauma center, in his church, and within his family. That is how we hope he will be remembered.

The funds raised will help cover the cost of transporting Bart from Florida to New Jersey, funeral and memorial expenses, and other related costs so our family can give him the dignified service and final resting place he deserves.
