We’re raising funds to support our dear friend Shawn—someone who’s poured his heart, soul, and countless late nights into building a place that felt like home. Due to unforeseen circumstances, The Getaway Cafe—a true neighborhood sanctuary—is being forced to close its doors.

If you’ve ever stepped into The Getaway, you know it was more than just a bar or café. It was a refuge. A celebration spot. A place to laugh, to cry, to connect, or just to breathe. Whether you were toasting to the good times or quietly escaping the hard ones, The Getaway held space for all of us.
