Our IVF Journey to Baby Robb

Hi, we’re The Robb’s! Thank you for visiting our Go Fund Me. We got married 4 years ago and we just knew we were ready to start a family soon. We bought our second home, large enough to grow into, traveled the world and worked tirelessly to make our house a home. A home that our kids would want to come home to.

After about 2 years of trying to conceive, with no luck, we decided to seek a doctors opinion. After undergoing multiple tests (both of us), a procedure (for me), the routine blood work, our doctor instructed us to try a medicated cycle with another 6 months of trying to conceive. 6 months went by and nothing.

We returned to the doctor and that’s when we were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. This is when standard fertility testing has not found a cause for a couple’s or woman’s ability to get pregnant. At this point, we were referred to a specialist and after meeting with the specialist we felt a world of relief because he had a plan for us.

The plan (a very optimistic one) was to start with IUI (intrauterine insemination). We underwent three rounds of IUI, and unfortunately they all failed and we did not become pregnant. Our hearts are shattered because we knew what was next…. IVF (in vitro fertilization). A proceed we are not mentally, emotionally or financially prepared for.

Ever since I was a little girl, when people would ask “what do you want to be when you grow up”, my answer was always the same, “a mom”. When I met my husband, I knew we shared the same dream of becoming parents. A dream that we will never give up on until we bring our baby home.

It required a lot of strength and courage to create this and ask for help and we really appreciate everyone and anyone who reads, shares, donates and prays. This will help us bring baby Robb home and hopefully diminish the financial stress that the process of IVF brings.
