Help Us Bring Baby Pace Into the World

Hi everyone,

We’re Audrey and Kendra, and we’re reaching out with hopeful hearts as we take one more step toward growing our family. Since the day we met, we’ve dreamed of becoming parents—sharing our love, adventures, and all the joy life has to offer with a little one of our own. But like many same-sex couples, our journey to parenthood comes with challenges, both emotional and financial.

We’ve already invested nearly $10,000 in our first IUI attempt, covering the cost of donor sperm, lab work, and the procedure itself. Unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. Kendra has been the one attempting to carry our baby, we’re still hopeful that this next one will be the one that brings us Baby Pace. Our insurance covers none of this—not the sperm, not the procedure, not even the basic labs required to make it possible. It’s been entirely out of pocket.

The good news? We still have one more vial of sperm and one more chance. But we need help to make it happen. Our next IUI cycle will cost $4,000, and this is our final shot before having to start over completely.

We also want to acknowledge that for many of you, this might be the first time you’re hearing about our journey. We had hoped to do this on our own and surprise everyone with the happiest news, but the reality is that the expenses have piled up much higher than we anticipated. It’s not easy to ask for help, but bringing Baby Pace into the world means everything to us, and we truly appreciate anyone who wants to be part of our story.
