In December 2023, Anuj Bansla arrived in Canada with a suitcase, a student visa, and a heart full of dreams. He left everything familiar behind to build a better future — studying MBA by education loan and family debt. Working hard to support himself, and carrying the hopes of his entire family on his shoulders.

On June 21, 2026, those dreams were cut short. Anuj drowned in Gravenhurst, Ontario. He was just 28 years old.

Anuj was one of best heart and kindest human.

No family is ever prepared for a call like this — especially from thousands of miles away. We are now facing the unimaginable task of bringing him home, covering funeral costs and supporting his grieving parents but the costs are far beyond what his family can manage alone.
