Help us bring 'AMSTERDAM' to life!

Hello, my name’s David, and I’ve written a play!
Last year, I started working on a modern day Rom-Com called ‘Amsterdam’. It’s an anxious love story about two people who are thinking the same thing, but who keep completely missing each other. And it’s funny. I promise.
We shared a 10 minute version in the Playground Festival of New Work in the Glass Mask, and based on the response to that, we then did 25 minutes in Scene and Heard. Now we’re gearing up to begin rehearsals for performance in September for my first full length play as a writer.
And we need your help.
The Amsterdam team are hosting a Fundraiser Variety Night, where a lot of talented people will perform in order to raise funds for the production. But we also wanted to make this Go Fund Me so that people who maybe aren’t able to make it to the Fundraiser would be able to support the show.
We have a really exciting team who are truly passionate about this play and have big ambitions for it. But there is far more passion behind making this show than there is funds to actually make it happen.
And that’s where you come in.
In order to achieve our goals for this show, we’d really appreciate any help you can offer. Whether it’s the price of a coffee, anything is helpful!
And if you’re not in a position to donate, please help us by spreading the word about the fundraiser online or share this link.
This play is very close to my heart, and at the moment we’re completely unfunded, rehearsing in living rooms, snatching brief windows of time in people’s busy schedules who are flat out working many different jobs so they can do this play.
I’m very lucky to have the incredible team that I have, but right now, everyone is volunteering their time for nothing.
Essentially, without your help, there's no way we can put on this show.
Any bit of support will make a huge difference, so that we can pay people for their time, get the proper script development we need, make our dream set come to life, and promote the show to reach the widest audience.
