Every week, animals come to our clinic in critical condition: severe infections, anemia, organ failure, tick-borne diseases, extreme malnourishment, unexplained collapse. In these moments, time matters the most. A blood test can mean the difference between guessing and knowing — between life and death.
Right now, we don’t have an in-house blood testing machine.
For every blood test, our team has to:
• draw samples
• travel 30 minutes to an external veterinary lab (which is closed on weekends and public holidays)
• wait anywhere between a few hours to a day for results
• then begin targeted treatment
In emergency cases, this delay can cost an animal their life.
What We Are Trying to Change
We urgently want to buy a haematology analyser (blood test machine) for our clinic.
With this machine, we will be able to:
- Get comprehensive blood test results in under a minute
- Diagnose critically ill animals in time
- Start life-saving treatment without delay
- Monitor recovery more accurately
- Perform quick blood tests for dogs who are planned for sterilization and other surgeries
- Serve local pet parents and out-patients with proper diagnosis
This machine will strengthen every rescue, every treatment, every surgery, every recovery that follows.
Where We Are Right Now
The cost of the machine is 2669 EUR (3126 USD or 2,80,000 INR) which is quite high for us, but we have managed to save almost half the amount through careful planning and budgeting over the last couple years.
Now, we need your help to raise the remaining 1430 EUR (1676 USD or 1,50,000 INR) and make this possible.
Our hope is to get this machine for our clinic before the year ends, so we can step into the new year working faster, smarter, and more efficiently for the animals who depend on us.
As people buy holiday gifts and Christmas presents, we want to offer another way to give.
