We extend a heartfelt invitation to join us in bringing hope, opportunity, and technology to remote regions across Ghana. This September/October marks another year of our mission to build ICT hubs where children and healthcare providers can access the tools they need to thrive.
Growing up in Ghana, I was fascinated by technology, even though I had almost no resources or training. My dream was simple: one day, I would help other children have the opportunities I didn’t. After studying IT and Project Management in the United Kingdom, I made a promise to return and help create centres of learning and innovation.
What We’ve Done So Far
Thanks to generous supporters and our partners at QA Limited, we have already equipped four ICT hubs, including:
- A nursing training institution with over 40 PCs, data projectors, office equipment, and large-screen TVs.
- Community centres with 12–20 PCs each to serve a cluster of schools.
- Over 100 laptops distributed to students and hospitals across Ghana.
- More than 100 mobile phones and tablets provided to hospitals, elderly people, widows, schoolchildren, and for disaster relief programmes.
Why This Matters
In many communities across Ghana, limited access to technology holds people back. The digital divide robs children of education, restricts economic growth, and limits access to essential healthcare information. But together, we can change this.
Our Goal for 2025
This year, our goal is to raise £5,000 to cover:
- Collecting donations, cleaning, resetting, and safely packing over 80 monitors and other devices.
- Purchasing new parts like monitor stands (£15 each).
- Shipping and customs clearance at the Port of Tema.
- Transporting and setting up equipment in identified communities across Ghana.
