Hi, I’m Renee.

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine woke up to a surprise in her backyard: a mama cat and her three kittens had taken up residence under her shed.

With local rescue groups under immense pressure and completely inundated, these four faced an uncertain future. I couldn't look the other way, so I stepped in to help. With the help of a kind friend who loaned us traps and cages, we’ve secured this little family and are now working hard every day to socialise the kittens and get them ready for life in a loving home.

The Mission : To break the cycle of homelessness, this family needs professional vet care. They are officially booked in for their procedures on January 12th.

Where the Funds Go: Every cent raised goes directly toward their health and preparation for adoption. We are looking to cover:

• Full Vet Work: Desexing, vaccinations, and microchipping.

• Estimated Costs: Approximately $189 per boy and $199 per girl. (We will know genders soon!)

• Essential Care: Any extra funds will help provide high-quality food and litter while they are in our care.

UPDATE 12/01/2026

Before Christmas an appointment was made for the three kittens and the mother to go in for their vet work today (desexing, microchipping and vaccination). However, due to unforeseen circumstances the vets have cancelled their appointments today. The three kittens have been re-booked for the 23rd January - however the mother cat appears to have become pregnant with another litter before we trapped her!

She will be desexed, microchipped and vaccinated after her next litter. They are all doing well and are all very sweet.
