We wanted to share our story with you, because the last few years have been a journey full of love, distance, patience, and determination — and now we are asking for help to take the next step in our life together.

We are Darren and Elvie. We first met in 2022 while Elvie was working in Dubai as a nanny and visiting the UK with her employer. From the moment we met, we felt an instant connection. Even after Elvie returned abroad, we stayed in touch every single day — our relationship grew through long-distance calls, messages, and the hope that one day we could finally build a life together in the same place.

After a long and emotional visa process, we were finally able to reunite in the UK, and on October 10th, we got married surrounded by love and gratitude. It was the beginning of the future we had dreamed of for so long.

Now, we are preparing for the next legal step: applying for Elvie’s visa extension so she can stay, work, and help us build a stable life together. Until the visa is approved, Elvie is not allowed to work, even though she is ready and eager to. She wants nothing more than to support herself, contribute to our home, and start building her own independence here in the UK — but legally, she can’t do that until this visa is processed.

Unfortunately, the fees for this process are very expensive, and we have to cover them ourselves — there is no financial support available, even though we are doing everything the right and legal way.

Our dream is simple: to settle here permanently, start a family, and contribute positively to the life we are building in the UK. We are not asking for charity, just a small helping hand so we can move forward without risking being separated again.
