My name is Wendi and I am raising funds so my half-brother Keven and I can be with our mother for her last days. She is 85 years old, has advanced Alzheimer's and recently took a bad fall, and is now in hospice. She has not eaten food for several days, and as of two days ago is no longer taking fluids. Her time will be soon, and she is resting easily as the hospice staff are taking care of her comfort.

The money we raise here is being used for airfare, hotel, food, and car rental for us. Unfortunately the cost for the disposition of her body will have to come out of our own pockets, so we are also raising money for her cremation and the spreading of her ashes, which we will need to travel to Washington State for.

Any small bit helps. As of today (April 23), we have used up all but $249 of the Go Fund Me donations thus far ($2674), and we have to extend our stay because we simply don't know when she will pass. Just knowing that there's some amount of support from our community to offset our worries about finances has helped relieve our burden immensely. Will you please boost this fundraiser so we can continue to sit with her as she lies in hospice?
