Help Us Be Close to Mom During Recovery

Hi, my name is Paris, and I'm raising funds to my sisters and me stay close to our mom as she continues a long and difficult medical journey.

What was expected to be a routine surgery turned into a series of life-saving operations on her stomach and esophagus. She has now gone months without being able to eat or drink, and the physical and emotional toll has been devastating.

The hardest part has been the loneliness. My mom has spent months in the hospital without the comfort of her whole family around her. While one of my sisters and our mom's husband are able to take turns staying with her at night, I live two hours away and am a full-time single parent. The hospital allows limited visits, and babies aren't permitted(outside of visiting quarters), which makes it difficult for my other sister and me to be with her consistently.

My daughter is my mom's best friend, and seeing her-even brief' makes a huge difference in my mom's spirit . Being close during during this time isn't just comforting-it's healing.

Unfortunately, we are now running low on funds for travel, child care, and the time away from work that's required to be there for her. We're still waiting for major progress, and every single day matters.
