Help us be able to bring Baby Jayda home.

Hi, my name is Jess. I have my partner Jarrod & my beautiful son Jaxon. In March 2025, we found out we were expecting our beautiful girl Jayda Lavina Hickey in November 2025.

It wasn’t your typical pregnancy. I was in hospital twice in the first trimester due to 2 heavy bleeds. I was diagnosed with a hematoma. I was told both times I could miscarry.

I made it to the 12 week scan, where everything was perfect. She was how you’d expect any baby to be.

We found out in June that she was a beautiful girl from early gender scan. We couldn’t have been happier.

At my 20 week scan, that’s when it took a turn for the worst. We went in thinking we would walkout with a perfectly healthy baby & be able to go home and plan the rest of the what we needed to get and do for the rest of the pregnancy.

She had a lot of fluid on her brain. I went for a follow up scan 2 weeks later. We were told it was a possible stroke and brain bleed. They offered us termination. We didn’t go through with it, we went with more tests to get down to what exactly happened, what the outcome would be & possibly find out what caused it.

The MRI confirmed it all.. but no cause.

My baby girl has agenesis of the corpus callosum, a piece of her brain didn’t develop and she has a blockage in her brain which can’t drain the fluid and blood.

Unfortunately due to this, she has no survival rate.

I can go full term but there is a very high chance she will pass.

I will be getting induced on the 18/08/25 to give birth to her & she will be placed in palliative care and will die within hours of being born, in either her mums or dads arms.

We unfortunately do not have the costs to be able to get her cremated and bring her home.

That’s why we are asking you to donate to help us.

We couldn’t be anymore heartbroken than we are as this certainly wasn’t the outcome we were hoping for or expecting.
