Rock Bottom-Help Us Come Back

IMMEDIATE NEED(Next 10 Days): We've run out of money. We need gas, storage unit payment to keep our posessions, phone bill payment, and a some basics like laundry money. Until I can get my ID situated we really need help to cobble along until sometime in August when some money can come in or I get my ID situation handled.

We could really use some help. I am not the best writer, but I appreciate your reading this.

My name is Virginia and we currently are at the bottom of the barrel. My family and I are asking for some help to assist in getting back on our feet. Job loss and other factors have caused us to be in a bad place. Things are bleak now and we are feeling really down but there is always some hope.

My husband’s job right now is more of a side thing. Unfortunately, there will be little work until August. While he is working on getting something better, I am having problems going through the hoops that I need to get what I need to find a job myself, especially one that fits us (we have one car). I am still working on it, though. While we are finally in the door to eventually get help with housing and other things, it could take a while, especially since it’s a strange process to get into the door with some of these things. We hope there will be some success there.

Right now, though, there is little money coming in and more money needed to go out for several things. We are drowning in regard to the things we need. Here is a few things we could use some help with while we continue to get ourselves forward:

2. General bill pay-Husband’s current job is more of a side hustle. It helps, but there isn’t enough for all bills plus other general expenses. Bills are phone (which my husband needs for his job and we need for contact to get help resources), a storage unit (important things we don’t want to lose are in it), and car insurance.

2. Gas-We need gas money to get to work sites. We have to drive all over the Houston area.

3. Back bills for several things we put on hold because we have no money for them.

4. Non-Food Items-We are lucky to have SNAP but you can't get things like plastic cutlery, paper plates, and toiletries with it.

5. Medical bills-I have had a couple of expensive visits to the hospital in recent months and there are pretty big bills related to that. Also, if we are able to get into a free or reduced cost medical place, we might have to pay some for that.
