Hello, my name is Galen, and I am raising funds to protect us from eviction.

My husband recently had hip surgery and is out of work to recover. I am taking time off work to help him with his recovery. Since we've been home, we have received an eviction notice as we are struggling to catch up on rent with the time out of work. We are currently receiving medical paid leave from the state, but it is not enough to get us caught up on our rent, and the Opportunity Council has deemed that we make too much from our work to access rental assistance from the state. This is where I am asking for help from the community. Please help us in getting caught up on our rent while we get back on our feet.

The funds used will help us pay off our backrent as well as our current rent, keeping us from getting evicted from our apartment.
