My husband and I have been working hard to recover after being hit by a semi last year. Since then, we've made every payment on time to the semi company, determined to handle our responsibilities and get back on track. Our final payment is due this week, and after that, we were finally going to be able to catch up on our rent on our own. Unfortunately, our landlord's boss is now threatening to send out a 3-day pay or quit notice before we have the chance to get caught up. Our landlord understands our situation and we've been sending money every week, but the pressure from above is making things really difficult.

This support would mean everything to us. We have two cats, and one of them is 14 years old—our pets are family, and we can't imagine having to give them up or move out. We simply don't have the means to move, and the costs would be even higher than staying where we are. We're so close to getting back on our feet, and this help would allow us to keep our home and finally have some breathing room after a really tough year.
