Our world turned upside down when my husband, Hamid Mehmood, a loving father of three young girls and my rock, suffered a sudden stroke caused by a random blood clot. At just 46, he went from being a vibrant, hardworking dad to being unable to walk, talk, or move.

While the NHS provided initial care, they are no longer willing to support us further, leaving us having to look at other options to keep him on the path to recovery.

I am doing everything I can to support our family, working full-time in keeping his business afloat, while managing the care of our three children and navigating this unimaginable challenge. But we can’t do this alone.
