Hello! We are Nessa and Alan. We have been struggling with secondary infertility for 5 years now.

Although I don’t like asking for financial help, it seems as if this might be our only option to have our miracle baby.

We started trying February 12th, 2020.

In January 2021, we decided to seek medical help. We tried 4 rounds of letrozole, and that unfortunately didn’t work. We then went to a specialist, 1 naturally timed cycle with Clomid, monitoring and a trigger shot to make me ovulate. When that didn’t work we moved to IUIs. We had 4 IUIs done, the last two we added injections. 3/4 of those IUIs resulted in chemical pregnancies (very early miscarriage)

We ran out of funds so we were unable to continue with treatment.

We tried naturally for 3 years after that, unfortunately with 4 more chemical pregnancies.

I found out my work provided insurance for fertility treatments. But it unfortunately doesn’t end up covering as much of the cost as we were hoping. We were so close to being able to go forward with IVF, just to have it ripped away from us.

We have already got all of our bloodwork done, I had 19 vials of blood taken, and Alan needed to get 5 vials. Because we have had so many losses, I need to have a uterine biopsy done, and we need to genetically test our embryos to make sure that they are perfect with no defects. All of this adds on to our total amount. We were expecting a 12k max on costs, but we are looking at closer to 25k, between all of our medical procedures, ultrasounds, and medications.

The 25K is due at the beginning of our IVF cycle before we can proceed with anything else.
