Exciting news from the Roa family—we’re ADOPTING!

For a long time, God has been placing a gentle calling on our hearts. We feel led to grow our family through special needs adoption, specifically by welcoming a baby with Down syndrome into our home.

This is very near and dear to our hearts. It’s been a journey of prayer, reflections, and trusting that God is writing a story bigger than anything we could plan ourselves. We truly believe there is a child out there meant to be part of our family and we are ready to love them, advocate for them, and give them a home where they are fully known and deeply cherished.

Children with Down syndrome are so often overlooked in the adoption process, yet they bring so much joy, light, and love. We feel incredibly honored to step into this space and say “yes” to a child who deserves to be celebrated exactly as they are.

As beautiful as this journey is, adoption also comes with significant financial costs: agency fees, legal expenses, home study requirements and potential travel costs. That’s the part that feels overwhelming, but we trust that God provides through community, generosity, and people who believe in this mission as much as we do.
